P.G. Department: M.Sc. (CS) [Self – Financed Course]

In order to cater to the needs of students, the Management established M.Sc (CS) in the year 2007. It is a self-financed P.G course. The course provides the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) through curriculum.
Aim
The department aims to equip PG students in the fields of Education /Research /System Analyst, Administration /Management Process and IT sector.
Objectives
- To produce competent computer teachers.
- To promote and encourage research in the various areas of computer science for the development of Nation.
- Demonstrating a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer science.
- Demonstrating professional competency in developing software and in its design and implementation.
Strategies
- Inviting eminent resource persons from various reputed colleges/Corporate sector and arranging the Seminar/Workshops on different aspects of computer technologies.
- For each semester, the department organizes distinguished Guest lectures, hands-on workshops for the students.
- Exclusive sessions are arranged to impart the knowledge of advanced Computer Science through T.E.D. Talks and Webinars.
- Emphasis to develop skills in creating computer software at a corporate level.
- Hypothetical, live and Real-time projects are carried out by selecting final year students.
- Motivate students to develop projects on new technologies based on syllabi.
