Aim

The department aims to equip PG students in the fields of Education /Research /System Analyst, Administration /Management Process and IT sector.

Objectives

• To produce competent computer teachers.
• To promote and encourage research in the various areas of computer science for the development of Nation.
• Demonstrating a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer science.
• Demonstrating professional competency in developing software and in its design and implementation.

Strategies

• Inviting eminent resource persons from various reputed colleges/Corporate sector and arranging the Seminar/Workshops on different aspects of computer technologies.
• For each semester, the department organizes distinguished Guest lectures, hands-on workshops for the students.
• Exclusive sessions are arranged to impart the knowledge of advanced Computer Science through T.E.D. Talks and Webinars.
• Emphasis to develop skills in creating computer software at a corporate level.
• Hypothetical, live and Real-time projects are carried out by selecting final year students.
• Motivate students to develop projects on new technologies based on syllabi.
