Basava Jayanti Celebration

B.L.D.E. Society’s S.B. Arts and K.C.P. Science College, Vijayapura, respectfully celebrated Basava Jayanti. The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Anil B. Naik, with IQAC Coordinator Dr. P.S. Patil in attendance. Prof. I.S. Hoogar, Head of the History Department, delivered an inspiring lecture on Basavanna’s social reformist ideologies. Dr. Ushadevi Hiremath from the Kannada Department began the program by lighting the lamp accompanied by the singing of vachanas, while emphasizing that Basavanna’s teachings reflect core values of equality and ethics. Faculty and students participated enthusiastically, taking a pledge to incorporate Basavanna's universal messages into their daily lives.
